There can be many reasons to tune your TV. Maybe you are using your TV for the first time and want to watch your favorite TV programs. Or maybe you are looking for a missing transmitter that was previously in your TV guide, but has suddenly disappeared.
Whatever the reason, here are step-by-step instructions on how to tune your TV so you can watch analogue and digital broadcasts. To watch analogue and digital broadcasts, you will have to tune your TV after purchase.
To do this, go through the initial TV setup until you get to the screen asking for the type program services to be searched for automatically. Select the type, in this case Digital and Analog. Then choose your TV connection.
You can choose from an antenna provider, your cable service provider or other TV cable providers. When you choose your cable service provider, the parameters are filled in automatically. Select Start to begin scanning.
If you choose other TV cable providers, you have the option to scan a wider range of different frequencies via the Quick Scan or Full Scan option. However, it will take longer to run a full scan. After choosing your cable provider, starts the Analogue Autom.
Program. A progress bar indicates the status of the scan and you can also see the number of new programs. After this scan, the Digital automatic programming follows. This is comparable to the analog: you will see another progress bar and the number of services available during scanning.
Finally, you can sort your programs. Highlight the program you want to move and move it using the arrow keys to the new location. You can also enter the new number you want for that channel. Make sure you do this while sorting channels does not mark the channel and press the ENTER button on the remote control.
Your channel will then be removed from the list and you will have to retune your program list! When you’re done, press the back button to save the changes. You may need to retune your TV from time to time due to changes in the frequencies used.
When broadcasters change frequencies, channels in your TV guide may end up in other locations or even disappear completely. If you notice that a channel no longer has the same number or missing from the list, it is best to retune your TV.
You can perform analog and digital tuning independently. To access the digital tuning menu from the home screen: Press the HOME button on your remote control. Go to the Settings menu. Select Channel installation Digital Set-up Digital tuning Digital automatic programming At the question [Do you want to start Auto Tuning?] (Do you want to start automatic programming?) select OK.
Then select your TV connection. As with the initial configuration you have the choice of an antenna provider, your cable service provider or other TV cable providers. Select your preferred cable provider.
Leave the already filled in information and continue by selecting Start If the scan does not find any channels or only some of the channels you expected, you may need to select Other Cable Providers and change the scan type setting to Full scan A full scan can take an hour or more depending on the broadcaster For analog it is almost the same as for digital tuning.
Go to START Settings Transmitter installation Analog settings Analogue Autom. Program and choose OK when prompted whether you want to start the Automatic Programming process. That’s all! Check out our European support website for more information.
